Exercises You Can Do at the Park

The Walking Lunge is a great exercise for your lower body and core. It’s also easy to do, so you can squeeze it into your workout even if you’re short on time. Here’s how: Step forward with one leg about two feet in front of you. Bend both knees until they’re almost at 90 degrees—but don’t let them touch the ground! Press through your front heel as you walk back to standing, then repeat on the other side. For an extra challenge, try doing walking lunges with leg weights.
Bench dips are one of the best exercises you can do at the park. They work your triceps, chest, core, and shoulders—and they’re easy to modify if you need to make them easier or harder.
